Plane Crashes at Georgia Air Show, Pilot Killed- Paisley Norburg 5th Period

Plane Crashes at Georgia Air Show, Pilot Killed (Paisley Norburg P.5)

On Saturday around 4:49 pm a plane crash occurred at an Atlanta-area stunt located specifically at the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (north of Atlanta.) This is where the 2016 Good Neighbor Day Airshow was being held. With all of the stunts going on everyone was videotaping just mesmerized . A man named Juan Rios actually caught the crash on tape, because he was videotaping the stunts. From watching the video you can see the plane flying up and then on its way down it loses control (what it looks like.) As it comes down from the stunt, the speed of the plane remains fast, out of control, and it crashes right into the ground immediately flaming up. The pilot did die in the result of the crash, and this crash was actually the first accident in the 30 years that the Good Neighbor Airshow has been held.

Investigators are still unclear on the cause of the crash, but will have answers soon. The identity of the pilot will not be revealed/identified until next of kin has been notified. This story is horrible and it's awful how the pilot died in result of the stunt. Curious to see what answers come out of this, possibly leading to the cause/reasoning of the crash.

  1. This is a hard story to read. It's unbelievable that we have come so far from the wright brothers up to now when planes are flied for sport and amusement.
