Summary: A huge wildfire revenging Canada covers about 621 square miles currently. It could be months before the fire is under control. Air quality warnings have been issued, and those who did not evacuate are advised to keep their windows shut. Its advance has been feulled by hot weather and tinder-dry terrain and officials warned only significant rainfall would halt its advance.
Analysis: This relates back to the natural disaster that occurred a few years ago. Hurricane Katrina, happens because the government had not properly prepared the New Orleans for the conditions. This is different because it really couldn't have been avoided. Nonetheless, it is still a tragedy.

  1. This fire is extreme, one of the most extreme weather conditions that I have seen in ages. It is said to burn for months! Crazy.

  2. Since Canada has a huge oil supply there, the wildfire could possibly effects in the U.S. similar to the Oil embargo in the 70s.
