Facebook goes beyond 'male' and 'female' with new gender options - Carolyn Villalobos 4th Period

Last thursday, Facebook added a new option for its user's profiles; they no longer are stuck with having only male and female as genders to choose from. You see, this new option allows one to choose from about 50 different options including, but most definitely not limited to, Trans Female, Trans Male, Trans Person, Gender Variant, Gender Questioning, Bigender, Androgynous, Pangender and Transsexual. This is pretty awesome news for those who don't fit into the gender binary because they can accurately identify themselves to the people they know. ^_^
