Current event

On Saturday, February 1st, 2014 police in eastern India arrested the husband and parents-in law of a young woman for burning her and the baby alive. The attack happened on January 30 and it is suspected to be dowry-related. 22 year old Annu Devi and her baby were doused in kerosene at their home village home and were set on fire. The child died instantaneously while the mother died while in the hospital. The court has sent three suspects to jail awaiting their trial. "Police across India registered 8,233 murders of women as dowry deaths in 2012.

This is so crazy! I cannot believe a husband would kill his wife and child for money. It is so sad that he would stoop this low just for dowry which he's probably not going to get now since he is in jail. The fact that he set them on fire is what makes it worse. He made his child and wife suffer from the burning fire. The world these days is crazy and it just keeps getting crazier.
