Big Tex catches on fire by Carter Brown
I actually read about this on Twitter today, so I figured that I would share it on here. Big Tex, the idol and symbol of the Texas State Fair burned down the other day due to electrical malfunctions. Obviously, something happened that started a spark, thus leading to a fire, burning down the beloved figure. In my opinion, I think it is really sad since he was a historical figure, but he didn't have a lot of meaning to me. I do know a few people, though, who are really sad about it.
