Man accused in Patz case makes appearance by Carter Brown
The man accused for killing 6-year-old New York City boy, Etan Patz, has finally made an appearance in court, as of today. His lawyer says that his client will plead not guilty, simply because he made a "false confession". Etan vanished while walking to his school bus stop. It is said that the man convicted of the murder, Pedro Hernandez is schizophrenic and prone to hallucinations, but investigators do not think this is why he said he made the confession. I believe that he did commit the crime and that he made a confession knowing that he is guilty, but I think he will keep trying to hide behind the excuse of him having a mental illness to try to cover it up and see if he can get away with the crime.
