The white house finally joins the fight to overturn the ban
on same-sex marriage. The government is arguing that any law attempting to ban
same-sex marriage singles out a class of Americans and therefore is equivalent
to discrimination and unequal treatment.
The controversy here is discrimination against homosexuals.
Many Americans have adapted to the new ideals on homosexuality but there are
still many people out there who cannot accept that times have changed along
with society.
