Horse Rescued From Quicksand by Carlos Walcott

After being stuck in thick, quicksand-like mud for hours in Avalon Beach, Australia, an 18-year-old horse was miraculously rescued. According to the report, the horse's owner and daughter we riding on the beach when the horse began to sink. Rescuers raced the clock to save the horse before the tide came in, using a sling and tractor to pull him out. The three-hour job was expedited after they were able to sedate the horse.
