Hallelujiah! President Barack Obama announced in his Pre-Super Bowl interview his proposal on the rule that states that The Boy Scouts of America does not accept gay boys. He said, "My attitude is that gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everybody else does, in every institution and walk of life." Great. GReat. GREat. GREAt. GREAT. Once again, Obama is asserting and being very clear on his stance when it comes to gay rights. Yaaaaayy. At the same time he praised the institution; The Boy Scouts of America. He said "The Scouts are a great institution that are promoting young people and exposing them to opportunities and leadership that will serve people for the rest of their lives. And I think nobody should be barred from that." Great. The end. (:

I agree strongly, ther is no reason why they shouldn't/couldn't be boy scouts. They made a life choice, but they shouldn't be discriminated against for it.
