Sandy Hook students return to class for first time since Newtown shooting
Today, students from Sandy Hook Elementary return to school today after the shooting that occurred on December 14, 2012 that killed 26 people. Parent Christine Wilford dropped off her 7-year-son Richie. When it appeared to be safe, students ran to a nearby fire station. Nearly a month later, Wilford said her son had trouble sleeping and was often being scared of loud noises. It is claimed that Richie isn't afraid of returning to school and says he looks forward to coming back and seeing all of his friends. Security measures have been increased to ensure the safety of all the students. Hopefully another tragedy doesn't happen again.
