DO NOT TAKE AWAY OUR 2ND AMENDMENT by Rachel Almquist
Recently, it seems our country and its inhabitants have jumped off the deep end and into the crazy pool. With all the recent "shootings" that have been going around, many of us have had this fear of guns and fire arms instilled into us, when in actuality, we should not be afraid of the weapons. I personally do not believe that any of these recent shootings have been done out of the blue by these people who have gotten trigger happy. (seriously guys, do some damn research before you start instagraming pictures of yourself crying over the kids of Sandy Hook or Aurora.) These events are being used as a scapegoat under the Obama administration to take away our 2nd amendment rights and to demonize weapons, fire arms, guns etc.. The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. The Bill of Rights is what keeps us free people. Our gov. CAN NOT take those rights away from us..

Its nice to see that someone else on here realizes this stuff. That supposed assault weapons ban is so messed up and ridiculous. And I'm tired of people going on and on about gun control and these so called "assault weapons" who don't know the first thing about guns or gun safety. Making guns illegal in any way isn't going to stop anyone of ill intent from committing these crimes anyway.
