Entire Police Department Resigns in Colorado Town - Olivia Browne Period 6

We've heard a lot the past few months about police leaders in major cities stepping down, but one Colorado town took things a step further - the entire department resigned. The police department in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, only had four employees: a marshal and three deputies. They haven't spoken out publicly about what made them leave their positions in the small city of about 700 full-time residents.

I had no prior knowledge of this event. The Audience is the concerned American public and this story has a negative effect on them. The reason for writing this article was to educate the American public on these occurrences. This directly relates to the labor unions during the Progressive Era and the mass protests and strikes.
